Unlocking the financial pipeline for our SMMEs
The Honourable Deputy Minister of Small Business Development Mr Cassel Mathale will be rendering closing remarks as the Enterprise Financing Forum comes to an end on 29 March 2019 at the Ekurhuleni Convention Centre.
The inaugural Enterprise Financing Forum brought a range of role players in the small business financing space, for constructive engagement on how to improve access to finance for small businesses and also identify key challenges experienced by the different stakeholders.
The Forum comprehensively covered an array of access to finance issues with the aim of formulating well-informed and plausible solutions that mitigate against the status quo of access to finance as one of the main challenges facing small businesses.
“As government we can no longer ignore the challenges of lack of access to finance for Small businesses any more. We need more innovative ideas and approach to access to funding for our Small businesses. Legislatives drivers and regulatory measures also need to be progressive and enabling in order to crowd-in private sector funds” so said DM Mathale.
